Annual Reports

2021 & 2022

2023 & 2024

In 2024/2025, we published 14 peer-reviewed papers, including four based on our project work in Mongolia in relation to raptor electrocution at power lines, and the home range movements and productivity of Saker Falcons breeding at artificial nests. Another paper documented the establishment of wild-breeding Sakers in Bulgaria following our successful reintroduction project. Our genomic and tracking studies of falcons were incorporated into a comprehensive review of the evolution of bird migration and in another study, we illustrated how our work on Gyrfalcons in the Eurasian Arctic can be integrated in trans-disciplinary research to better understand the impacts of climate change.
