Mongolia Saker Falcon Project
In Mongolia, we’ve teamed up with local conservation centers to tackle raptor electrocutions and enhance grassland biodiversity. By insulating nearly 27,000 power poles, we’ve reduced raptor electrocution rates by 95%, representing the largest power line conservation initiative worldwide. Additionally, our artificial nests across Mongolia’s grasslands have been highly effective, hosting a variety of raptors and producing around 25,000 young Saker Falcons since 2010, aiding in the preservation of this endangered species.Below is a collection of photos from our work on this project.
