Indian Vultures
Four of South Asia’s vultures are critically endangered, largely due to the use of diclofenac in veterinary practices. In response, we’ve partnered with The Corbett Foundation to resume monitoring efforts for the Indian Vulture in Central India after an eight-year pause. Vultures are vital for ecosystem stability, acting as natural scavengers that help prevent disease spread and reduce methane emissions. Our partnership focuses on rigorous population assessments and ecological research to strengthen conservation leadership, enhance current efforts, and deepen scientific understanding of vulture population dynamics.Below is a collection of photos from our work on this project.
